In 1879, Thomas Edison created the first tungsten filament lamp. It was the first commercially successful light source that used electricity. But, was replaced quickly with the invention of the fluorescent lamp. The fluorescent tube was invented in the 1930s. It was less expensive than the tungsten bulb and could last much longer. Fluorescent lights became extremely popular in the decades that followed. In the 1960s and 1970s, manufacturers began to add phosphors to the tubes to make them more efficient and change their color to white.

The technology world is full of surprises and advances and every day we are learning new and interesting things. To get a full concept of "Electrical" I have discussed Tungsten light and CFL light. Today the discussion is about LED lights.

Lighting is a segment in which we can understand the working of a home light.

You can compare the working of light with the concept of a bulb and it is a totally different segment. First, it was a tungsten bulb, then the CFL light and now it is the LED light.

Electronic devices are used as a source of light and are also known as a type of lighting. It is a part of electrical engineering and it is known as the branch of engineering that deals with the design, construction, and application of such devices.

1. How are the lights different? 

With the rapid development of science and technology, almost all things about lighting have changed. The early Tungsten lamps and incandescent lamps have been replaced by fluorescent lamps, LED light (Light Emitting Diode), and other new energy-saving lamps. The new generation of light bulbs is more environmentally friendly and more energy-efficient. Most of them are made from special materials, such as phosphors or rare earth minerals, and are very different from the old light bulbs.

Home lights are very important for everyone. We need it every minute of our life. We are using it for a long time. If we change it to another type, it will be a very difficult thing.
